ho couldn't benefit from a good dose of Nazi slaying? While development of Wolfenstein was mostly taken care of by Raven Software, the folks at id also played their part. You can pick up this new take on an old classic this week for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Danger looks to combine the FPS and strategy genres. Players can seamlessly switch between a first-person view and a top-down RTS-style camera. Even if the implementation isn't perfect, one can't fault Atomic Motion for trying something different.

Epic Games set out to break the mold, and that they have. Shadow Complex is a side-scrolling platformer/shooter that seems to share more in common with Contra than Gears of War. There's nothing old school about this one, though — this Xbox Live Arcade exclusive sports some stellar visuals.
