Finally: a game that caters to the neat freak in us all.

P

art Tetris, part waste management simulation — Trash Panic arrives this week on the PlayStation Network. Players will be tasked with packing a pile of trash into a receptacle as efficiently as possible. Sound like fun? It was an absolute hit when it debuted at the Tokyo Games Show.

What do you get when you pool the resources of Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Namco Bandai, Gust and Idea Factory? We're about to find out — Cross Edge arrives for the PlayStation 3 this week care of publisher NIS America. What this strategy RPG may lack in substance it should make up for with eclecticism.

Personal Trainer: Walking embodies two things: everything that core gamers hate about Nintendo and everything it takes to move 1 million-plus units of product. This "game" ships with a pedometer that allows users to track distances and calories burned. Whether the idea strikes you as inane or utterly brilliant, plenty of DS owners are bound to give it a shot.
