ans of metal: your day has arrived. After more than a year of rumors and months of waiting, Guitar Hero: Metallica arrives for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. Why the delay in publishing a PlayStation 2 version? Perhaps Lars Ulrich was turned off by that platform's inability to easily access downloadable content. Oh wait . . .

Apparently a game doesn't have to perform well to justify a sequel — hopefully for Codemasters, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is anything but. Available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, this title seeks to rekindle the naughtiness of the Sierra franchise from the late eighties. The problem is, its target audience has already grown up and today's twelve- year-olds have access to far naughtier stuff on the internet.

What it lacks in brand recognition, this space flight sim more than makes up for in sheer options. X3: Terran Conflict looks to combine space dogfights with privateering and trade elements, all set in a futuristic version of our own Sol system. For anyone who's ever wanted to experience the life of Han Solo but didn't want to put up with a Wookie copilot: this just may be your game.
