Yeah, I'm still just as puzzled by the broken multiplayer as you were. I'm curious – how would you rate the overall feel of the game's weaponry? I've been wanting for a sci-fi shooter whose weapons behave more believably, like those in COD4.

For an aficionado like you, Ed, COD4 and other games dedicated to authenticity are the best choice. Still, Section 8's weapons are satisfying to handle and fire.

Have you played Killzone 2 for the PS3? I thought it's weapons were very well done. In fact the entire game was pretty awesome.

Good to know. I feel Halo's always done a pretty good job providing an interesting arsenal, but even that franchise could learn a thing or two from our friends at Infinity Ward.

Agreed – I haven't beaten Killzone 2 (yet), but I found its gunplay to be most satisfying

I am glad to see that it at least got 3 stars. I saw nothing of the campaign at E3, just multiplayer, and so Chris and I were ... well, extremely unimpressed.

Also, a hot topic on their forum.

While I don't celebrate a game's nondelivery of a promised feature, I am relieved that — since I've run into multiplayer connection issues in the past — the blame isn't my own.

I tried the demo of this shortly after it was available. I had to agree, I really wasn't impressed at all. After about 20 minutes I promptly kicked back to my dashboard and deleted it. Glad to hear the single player is a little better. Still not enough to make go out and grab it.
