I hear you Max. It doesn't hurt to see someone offer to play something I have, for the sheer pleasure of playing something with me knowing I don't have (insert name of latest, greatest video game). People say that if I want to play an older game, that I should ask - and in the past I've done that. However, that should not prevent someone else from seeing that I'm playing (insert name of game) and asking if I'd like to play it with them. That's more my whole point.
That said, I expect to be picking up Borderlands, DAO, MW2, etc within 2-3 weeks, barring something unforseen. I guess I'll find out if I get asked to play something when that time comes. Sorry if I came across rather harsh, but I'd rather be blunt and honest about how I feel than beat around the bush and hope someone, anyone, figures out that I feel excluded from the group because of the sheer fact I can't afford to pay to keep up. To be honest, i should be fortunate to have what I do. And I'm not a big fan of PDZ either - I just picked it up for a few achievement points (primarily Multiplayer) since it was cheap ($5). Same thing with other recent pickups like College Hoops 2K6. 1000 gamerpoints for 2 bucks? Sure! And I too have been working towards single player games. I recently completed the game WET (on easy difficulty). Don't know if G&P ever reviewed that, but it's a decent SP game. I also completed Assassin's Creed within the last month or so, and Bioshock since December. Been doing a new co-op run through Saints Row 2 with a friend for co-op activities. I don't know how many of you have that, but if you want to play it with me you will need all 3 DLCs (only 1 of which is free). And the real sinker for me is that I spent money I didn't really have at the time on a 360 to play with everyone only to find myself pretty much alone when I'm not boosting achievements. Makes me wonder why i spent that money, you know? Again, not trying to be an ass about anything but I figured while we were on the subject of being honest even if seeming like the bad guy it would be best to speak how I felt than pretend I didn't feel this way.

Actually, I think I'd be more interested in playing co-op campaign. And while I'm not sure if anybody else has Culdcept Saga (or has heard of it?), but I'm making a thread. |

I'm somewhat in a similar boat cause more people have 360 and play it online and I have a PS3. When most people want to play games online, they're like "Hey let's play [game for 360]!" because more people are going to have it.
