I cannot support this article on the basis of the penultimate sentence

We love college freshmen, Adam. We're just looking out for ya'!

As a semi-related aside: I definitely worked the hardest my freshman year of college. I don't think it's that things got easier, it's just that I learned how to do the work I had more efficiently. My sophomore year was my re-introduction to console gaming, and I haven't turned back since

As for the article, Zach, that's a great list of freeware. I may have to finally load XP onto my MacBook-- I'm wondering if it would be able to run Navy Field...

Navy Field is fairly easy on the graphical requirements Ed, I don't see it being an issue for you. If in fact you do get on, and to anyone else who may, play on the Arizona server - that's where I play.

Penny Arcade linked a kicker of a freebie a little over a year ago called Bookworm Adventures. At the time it was free, but now it appears that they've added to the game and have left only the first third available for free use. Still, as cheap distractions go, it was a blast. Unfortunately, it's PC only, but for any who wish to check-check, check-a-check it out:

In response to bookworm, you can also play that on yahoo games. In terms of free games that is where I head, usually towards Arcade: Dynomite, it's pretty addictive!

Hmmm, and all along I thought the best things in life required you to pay by the hour...
