I really enjoyed that review, Phineas. You not only pointed out the good parts of the game, but you were honest and revealed where it's lacking. You've done a great job of putting great detail into this review. When I get through some of my other games, I'll be sure to give this one a try. :)

P.S. Sorry about copying my reply from another forum. I just finally had a chance to check out your great review.

Hehe, no problem Magiz. I saw your response on the other forum and came over here to check for any responses, and saw that you had and wondered, "I wonder if Magiz just pasted his post here too?"

:p

I did appreciate the review as well. I'm certainly enjoying the game, but it's not perfect.

And, of course, it was overhyped. :( What is with that now?

Marketing, marketing, marketing Jai. Sometimes a company can sell a product more on the hype than the content. Think about it. What is easier to convince someone of; that they want something because it's hip or because of its content?

I still enjoy the game, though. I expect a certain level of flaws in things...games, books, etc.

An impressive review. I like your writing style, Phinny.

I've only watched Chris play, but I can tell they worked really hard to make an awesome climbing and fighting system. It's cool to run up from behind and lunge your short sword into someone straight to the ground.

But that's about all that I like so far. The comments that people make are funny sometimes too.

EDIT: Chris went to stealth assasinate some guy but had his long sword out. The dude screamed in agony for like a good 10 secconds. LOL

The sheer fact that Altair can not swim is a big turn off, and yes why is Altair white?
