Retail Roundup: March 3, 2010

A week full of sequels.

T

his week, DICE seeks to outdo itself with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the developer's sequel to its 2008 smash hit. Expect plenty of explosions, open world environments and a rag-tag bunch of characters. This shooter is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Gas Powered Games latest strategy title hits store shelves this week: Supreme Commander 2 brings futuristic real-time strategy to the PC. Control giant robots, alien armies and aerial assault craft in your quest to become king of the battlefield.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony seems oddly familiar — perhaps it's because this RPG originally released nearly two decades ago for the Sega CD. Granted, the graphics, audio and gameplay have all been re-mastered for this PSP debut, but if you ask me, XSeed's milking this one for all it's worth.
