Square Enix and Disney pair up yet again.

T

his week, Square Enix delivers yet another Disney/Final Fantasy mash-up. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is an action/role-playing game that should appeal to both older and younger gamers alike with a compelling story of friendship and cameos from some of Disney's and Square's most popular characters. A mission-based campaign should help to parcel this DS release up into bite-sized chunks — a good thing for any portable game.

Save the world by harnessing the awesome power of tornadoes? Isn't that sort of like saving the world by harnessing the awesome power of the plague? Tastelessness aside, tornadoes are your tool of choice in Tornado Outbreak, the latest from developer Loose Cannon and Konami. This action/puzzle hybrid releases this week for the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Last year, EA proved it could bring something new to the survival horror genre with Dead Space, their sci-fi take on the classic formula. Dead Space Extraction brings the nightmare to the Wii, adding motion controls and a wealth of other new hooks.

I've been waiting a while to see this new Kingdom Hearts game. I should probably check it out. From what I've seen and played of the series it has been pretty enjoyable.

This latest Kingdom Hearts game has been getting some really good press. While I have yet to try out any of the other games in the series, this one might prove to be as good a place to start as any ;)
