Classic 2-D fighting lands on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

A

rc System Works has been a household name for fighting game fans ever since the original Guilty Gear. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Arc's latest, combines the developer's signature visual style with blindingly fast 2-D gameplay and precise controls. If you're looking for proof that 2-D isn't dead, look no further.

The first Call of Juarez did fairly well when it released two years ago on the Xbox. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood serves as a prequel to the original, fleshing out character relationships in a story that takes players from a Civil War-torn Georgia to the Aztec temples of Mexico. Western games are few and far between on consoles these days — here's hoping this unique Ubisoft title does well.

Another summer, another rash of movie games. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince brings home some of the action from the summer blockbuster. As is expected, this title's releasing for just about every platform known to man.
