The game based on the first film raised both eyebrows and blood pressures — how could anything drawn from one of the most iconic cartoons of the past three decades be so abysmal? Activision seeks to right more than a few wrongs with the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Coming out for just about every platform under the sun, this action game should recreate many of the thrills and spills of the Hollywood blockbuster. Will the Transformers rule the road, or is this just another piece of scrap in the making? We're keeping our fingers crossed.
Minions: attack! The first Overlord surprised with its fun combination of action, adventure and strategy. Overlord II hopes to correct a few of the original's weaknesses while bringing some fresh new ideas to the franchise. PlayStation 3, Xbox and PC gamers will be able to send forth their armies of little multi-colored men this week. Whoever said being evil couldn't be fun?
