Zombies attack on PlayStation 3 and Xbox.

ven though your character no longer controls like a Panther tank, anyone that's played the demo (or the previous titles in the series) realizes that this isn't your traditional run and gun shooter. Resident Evil 5 releases this week for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. While the graphics may be next gen, there's something old school about the gameplay.

Apparently, there hasn't been enough blood in recent brawlers — at least that's how Platinum Games sees it. The former members of Capcom's Clover Studio give the Wii its grittiest title to date with Mad World. People have been playing Eve Online for over six years, but this week marks the first time that gamers can pick up a copy through traditional retail chains. As much as it makes sense to distribute an MMO game online, there's a lot to be said for handling a retail box. Fans of physical discs and manuals should get to their local retailer.

Nintendo ports their second GameCube game to the Wii this week: New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis adds muscle straining arm motions to the original's family friendly fun. The graphics haven't changed much, but as fans of motion control will tell you: the Wiimote makes it a whole new game.
