Spark Plug Games delivers a frozen gaming treat. No, really.
lthough Ubisoft's been messing around with the franchise for a number of years now, it looks as though they wish to reset Prince of Persia back to day one. Calling this a remake of the Broderbund classic would be a major disservice — some truly groundbreaking visuals await those who choose to give this adventure/platformer a shot.
If Grand Theft Auto IV sounds like old news, you obviously aren't a PC gamer. The latest in the maligned Rockstar series moves to Windows this week, where hackers are bound to unearth the next public relations nightmare for the publisher. Who doesn't like their coffee "hot"?
We knew Square Enix had a thing for remakes, but this one takes the cake. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories is a PlayStation 2 port of a GameBoy Advance title. What next? WonderSwan games on the Xbox 360? Keep your fingers crossed.
If I had the opportunity to become a fast food magnate, I think I'd choose Arby's. Or maybe Wendy's. Heck, anything but Dairy Queen — I'm sorry, but soft serve "creations" and hot dogs should not be sold in the same building. But hey — since when has Spark Plug Games listened to anything I've said? DQ Tycoon is released this week for PC and Mac. Seriously, folks. I can't make things like this up. Happy December.
