Love it or leave it, Fable II returns with its unique brand of action/RPG gameplay. Provided this sequel retains the original's smooth controls while correcting its abysmally short play length, Lionhead Studios and Peter Molyneux may deserve a salute.
Shooter fans have yet another game to get excited about — Ubisoft releases Far Cry 2 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. An open-ended storyline and enhanced gameplay build upon the 2004 original.
The PlayStation 3 shows up late to not just one, but three parties this week. Rock Band 2, Bioshock and Eternal Sonata, all of which first appeared on the Xbox 360, are now available for Sony's box. Better late than never, I guess.
